Wonder Woman

On a serious note, if Justice League doesn't break a billion, I would personally consider it a pretty epic failure, all things considered. It has the DC big three, and not only has Wonder Woman been doing well, but the superhero films in general have been good this year so far (GotG 2, Logan and Spiderman as well), which will likely have a positive influence on audience willingness to shill out money for this. And the CW shows have made characters like the Flash much more visible and popular among more mainstream audiences. So, one would expect it to at least make a billion at the box office.

Plus come on..

Spoiler:
Remus Lupin
as the God of War, it's a little bit funny.

The audiences haven't really been responding well to the DCEU outside of WW. So I wouldn't be surprised if it misses a billion.

Well, Wonder Woman is the most recent, and will be the freshest in audience minds. And, beyond the other reasons, it has the Whedon name attached to it now as well. Even if he doesn't do much, just knowing that the guy who worked on both Avengers films is attached to this is likely to draw some people.

It obviously also comes down to the actual quality of the film. If it's another BvS shitshow, then it might fall short. But if it can manage to be around the same level of WW, I can definitely see them making a billion.

JL will be pretty massive, IMO.

Whedon factor
WW factor
Batman factor
etc...

I see a billion or so. Probably the only movie to hit a billion this year.

WW will pass 380 this weekend. 400 incoming?

Well, like I have said before, I really want DC to do well. Especially a Justice League movie, because it might get them off their asses to move along with a movie I really want to see, which is the live-action Justice League Dark movie that has seemingly been in the works for forever, yet still seems to be nowhere.

There is a little film called Star Wars Episode 9 coming out later this year. Though I guess it won't cross the billion mark until next year.

To be quite honest when he was all armored up he looked and sounded pretty freaking badass.

Box Office: Wonder Woman Is Now Sure To Be Summer's Biggest Hit

Warner Bros./Time Warner Inc.'s Wonder Woman earned another $6.885 million in its seventh weekend of release, dropping just 30% despite losing another 347 theaters. That brings the $150 million superhero movie's domestic total to $380.686m in 45 days. This puts it around $6m behind Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 ($386.5m as of today), so it should pass the Walt Disney/Marvel sci-fi sequel by the end of next week (or soon after) to become the summer's biggest domestic grosser.
