Just passed Civil War and will pass Iron Meh 3 soon. Wonder woman might get that 4x multiplier.

That's insane. The top two solo comic book movies are Batman and Wonder Woman!!!!!!!!

Last week when's i looked at its numbers it was like 800 mil and now it's 812, wtf stop making money lol. Also it's been playing at the theater I saw it at for 4 straight months now, insane

Well it's gonna lose out to Spider-Man worldwide. SM's Chinese release is next week, and it's already on $745mill. Plus it obviously lost to GOTG2 worldwide. So it won't be the biggest superhero movie of the summer. Not even 2nd.

But it's obviously no.1 domestic, and that's not even close.

Spiderman still isn't out in China yet..wtf?

Also Golgo the PR man seems more interested in box office numbers than Wonder Woman as a film which is weird.

Spider-man is a proven box office powerhouse world wide. No real surprise there. However, this is WW first movie and it already surpassed 800 million. Not many super hero movies can say that.

Domestic is where it counts the most, obviously and it cleaned house, despite the heavy competition. In fact wonder woman had faced more competion than any super hero movie out there. Her run is more impressive than spidey or GOTG by far.

All the comic films did great.

WW beating several MCU films despite opening much lower is a big achievement.

I think DC finally making a good movie is the more impressive feat.

I think all the people flocking to go see a tad better than mediocre superhero flick is the most impressive. I just don't know why.

Wonder woman has replay value. Some have seen it 3-4 times, so obviously they don't think its a mediocre movie.

Despite how good this film was (some would say it's average, but being passable is still a victory in itself at this point), I would need to see a couple more big hits or so from DC to be convinced that they're in smooth sailing from here on in and that WW's success wasn't a fluke.

Hmm it's funny pre-WW when I used to bring up IM1 and IM2 sold better domestically than any DCEU film to that date, you didn't seem to care about Domestic numbers. Now suddenly domestic is what it's all about 😂

Spidey and GOTG2 are still the biggest superhero films of the summer. WW is no.3 😛

I've always said Domestic counts the most. WW numbers count, too, but studios don't get as much back compared to domestic. I debated that in the WOW thread and I said there would be NO sequel. Fast forward to now and there is STILL is no sequel. I was right.

Yeah, I only saw it once. Not even my favorite dc movie. However, it did strike a chord with the general audience for some reason.
