Exactly 1 season behind. You'd need to watch 10 more episodes to catch up.

Oh. haermm
I thought my jaded cynicism and slightly rude behavior caused the thread to be hidden from me somehow. I was very very confused.

...eh by now I would guess that most of mine are probably DEAD!
“I think we’re down to our final 13 episodes after this season. We’re heading into the final lap,” Benioff told the trade. “That’s the guess, though nothing is yet set in stone, but that’s what we’re looking at.”
13 episodes for Dany's invasion and the White Walkers long night? Are you f*cking shitting me?
In that case, they should have killed off Snow halfway through season 5 and not dragged it out so much. WTF at having such a slow season. Dany should have invaded by the end of season 5. 13 episodes to wrap things up after so long is underwhelming as hell.

On the other hand, the trailers seem to suggest that Dorne and the Lannisters are going to war, even as the High Sparrow's forces are threatening the capital. I wonder if there will be some crossover between those plots, like a High Sparrow-Doran alliance.
Originally posted by ares834Two seasons isn't the problem man. 13 episodes is. Does 6 or 7 episodes each season to wrap it all two books that should have the densest and biggest arcs in the entire series sound good to you? Each arc was originally supposed to be a third of the entire series back when it was a trilogy.
How is this surprising?GRRM plans to wrap up the series in two books. Considering how each season roughly covers a book, it makes sense there would only be two more. Plus those events may very likely begin in this season.
