i think it's more about how the characters interacted and developed. jon and arya were clearly established as big bro and little sis from episode 1, so the revelation that they are cousins really doesnt change our attitudes about their relationship. it's far easier to permit jon+dany because they began their interaction late in the series and it was all ambiguously romantic from the start.
