First episode is pretty slow besides the ending. Its purpose is pretty much to introduce most of the main characters. Gets better.

Long as Surtur isn't put off by any of the leads.

We all know how annoying the invincible Ned Stark is.

If it ended in season 5 we wouldn't have scenes like where Sam and Dean are in a darkened hotel room with Cas and he begins to watch porn. Then Mitch Pileggi walks in and goes "Is this what you guys do? Sit in the dark and watch porno with angels?".

At the same time, a lot of other things have gone downhill. The show has gotten to the point where the writers shit on their own lore, established in previous seasons, just to keep the story going. And a lot of characters and groups have gotten watered down over the seasons. Remember when this was still a standard, foot-soldier level angel?

It seems like they try to mess with you. You will be into an episode and then oh...that 7 yr. old is sucking on his moms boob right in front of everyone. Well okay then.

You gotta take the good with the bad. It is also like most shows with super heroes or with people fighting the supernatural. Remember the first season of Buffy, how even some random vampire was somewhat of a threat? Yeah...then later on Xander is killing vampires, pencils are killing vampires.

We started with demons being seriously frightening to have to face off against and now...eh, God's sister and shit. If an episode in a current season is bad, eh, I've watched plenty of bad episodes of television and will do so in the future, but the episodes that remind you why you got into it in the first place make it worth it.

If you really look at Aria Starks face she kinda looks like some kind of alien being.

Your dislike of females aside, Surt, are you enjoying GoT thus far? Why if yes or no?

Also not sure why anyone is surprised quanchi thinks S7 is the best season, considering the story was disgustingly weak, the character arcs mostly lame and we had beloved complex characters like Little Finger, Varys and Tyrion (to some extent) turned into one-dimensional throwaways all for the sake of lots and lots of flash with virtually no substance.

Hey, you didn't like it that's fine. I enjoy fantasy and the supernatural aspects of the series far more than you do. You don't really care for the character meet ups and think it was poor. I enjoyed many of these episodes and the rewatchability factor is super high. Little Finger's time was up and his schemes didn't work on someone who grew up being exposed and soaking his deception in.

Seeing the different characters strategize and try to defeat each other in battle was quite enjoyable. I also enjoyed the Hound meeting up with the Mountain I guess you didn't. Also seeing the misfits stand against the Night King while the queen of dragons shows up was great stuff. You didn't care for this season. That's fine but I thoroughly enjoyed it, Robbie.

"Blah, blah, blah... I'm upset at stuff, blah, blah!", That's what you sound like quanchi, so calm thyself. Calm.

You didn't like this season I loved it. Glad to hear you admit it.

I actually didn't mind Season 7. It wasn't as story driven as prior seasons, and you can see they are accelerating things, but season 7 wasn't a complete disaster as some have espoused.

As long as the Night King wins, Season 7 will have been worth it IMO.

Lol I don't dislike females, I think she has a weird looking face. I've finished the 1st season, it's pretty decent. Some of the characters are interesting as is the setting. I'm willing to give season 2 a shot.

Though damn it feels like there is incest everywhere.

Show gets better Seasons 1-4, then the dip happens.

GRRM loves incest, what else is there to say

He really really loves incest it seems. My theory is most of the characters behave the way they do because most of the population is the result of some sort of inbreeding.

The show is so much more than incest, so try and look past that

Indeed, now into season 2 and we meet a guy who...makes all his daughters his wives lol.

So Jon Snow is the true name is Aegon Targaryen heir but not immune to fire. Any thoughts?

Not all Targaryens are immune to fire/heat. Remember, Dany's brother wasn't.

He wasn't immune to molten gold. We don't know if she is either correct?
