Phonogram - The Immaterial Girl. Image Comics

In a world (lol i love that phrase now imagine me doing it in a movie voice), In a world where music is magic, phonomancer Emily Aster sold half her personality for power. Now, after a decade of brittle perfection, the deal starts to go bad as the girl behind the screen comes looking for revenge.

Story: Kieron Gillen, art: Jamie McKelvie

I use to make fun of Wow players. Which made no sense because i grew up playing magic the gathering and phuckin d&d smh. Goes to show even nerds can be bullies...anyway the great minds over there put together an illustration elaborating on WoWs history.

World of Warcraft: Chronicle Volume 1

“World of Warcraft: Chronicle is the first in a series of books that attempts to codify, tighten up, and clarify the history of Warcraft,” said Chris Metzen, Blizzard Entertainment senior vice president of story and franchise development. “People often ask why lore is important. The lore, the storytelling of Warcraft is something that we’ve really tried to work on and hone over the years as an integral part of the fantasy you’re playing through. When it catches you, it’s something you want to keep coming back to over and over.”

This beautiful hardcover book features over twenty full-page illustrations by World of Warcraft artist Peter Lee and is the first in a multipart series exploring the Warcraft universe, from its distant past to the current era.Volume 1 covers the creation of the Warcraft universe up to the story of the original Warcraft: Orcs & Humans.

Animosity #2 (2016) // Aftershock Comics

“One day, the Animals woke up.
They started thinking. They started talking.
They started taking revenge.

Great premise. MB works wonders when what happens if all of a sudden Fido gains sentience. Ive always liked stories where humans are no longer the planets sole "intelligent" life form.

Doom Patrol #1 DC’s Young Animal

I love the cover. Psycho-babble aside the whole gyro thing was a pretty spot on analogy.

Tank Girl: Two Girls One Tank #4. Titan Comics

Story: Alan Martin, art: Brett Parson

I saw this at Barnes and Nobles yesterday. (Give you a little backstory my roommate ate all the bologna and i kept saying dont eat my bologna, buy your own. So i stormed out and loitered at the book store all day). Anyway the title is what got me cuz i kept thinking two girls one cup. One of the best movies in the history of film 🎥!!

The art is pretty dope. Brett Parson does a kick ass job. The scenes are fluid. Kinda reminds me of the cartoons they use to show on MTV late nights back in the 90s. (And no not Daria). Alan Martin keeps the banter light and funny. No wordy expositions or bloated ass plots.

Not the best dialogue but genuine. F-bomb humor aside its a good read. And it's one of those books you dont need a thousand pages of backstory to figure out WTF is going on. You can grab it off the shelf and just dive right in. Check it outttt

Scene from Inj #40

The art sucks. Like its really phuckin mediocre. But thats not why I posted it. Im kinda over the whole"evil" Superman pastiche that seems to be the go to characterisation of Clark whenever someone dies close to him.

Its as if the writers view him as the utmost altruistic symbol, just so long as lois doesnt get hurt. It annoys me the lengths writere will go thru to push feats over characterization.

You might be thinking of the Gorillaz. This artist is channelling a bit of Jamie Hewlett, creator of tank girl and also the guy who designed the animated looks of the Gorillaz.
