The Sentinel can take off Bucky's metal arm with it's heat. It melted a reinforced door in seconds. It would kill Bucky/Cap upon contact.

See the fights against Colossus for proof of this...
Inaddition, they really dont need numbers to beat mutants; numbers simply make the kills more efficient...
But they are fully capable of soloing mutants and they did just that in the beginning of DoFP...
A lone Sentinel solos and kills Colossus...
A lone Sentinel solos and kills Sunspot...
A lone Sentinel solos and kills Blink...
A lone Sentinel solos and kills Iceman....

If the Sentinel goes into Fire Form (which it can do at will; a Sentinel did this long after Iceman was dead and used this power to burn right through a thick metal wall) and then engages team in melee, what is the team going to do?
Remember, they fight in character and love to fight up close and as you saw in the clip, the Sentinels are fast and skilled as well...
What are they going to do other than run?
