And what are Colossus great durability feats? He's a total pussy in that movie.
It's wasn't Colossus' power. It was something akin to it. Basically they bulked up their strength and durability.

Yes but I think he used it more than once in Avengers

Are you pretty much brain dead to how comic book movies work? Every movie every character gets huge upgrades..He used his tri beams multiple times in in Avengers.
Or did you not know that Tony can make great things better and smaller?
He uses it again in Avengers, as has been stated by multiple people (one example is the Leviathan's armour), and it is mentioned that if he kept using it for sustained periods it would drain all the power from his suit IIRC. So not a one time thing at that point, but still costly and likely a last resort.
Originally posted by golem370IM used the laser to help fix the Helicarrier and then(in a different suit) he used it on the leviathan where JARVIS told him he would run out of power before he damaged it. He might have even used it when he flew down a leviathan's throat but I'm not sure. Dunno about any other time
No I said prove the Tri-Beam being in a movie after Iron Man 2
Just curious about the "Burn Iron Man's suit off". Did Sunspot or the sentinels ever reach temperatures of 3000°C or more? Because unless they did, I am not sure that would work. Pure heat didn't damage Tony's suit. It was super high temperatures, focused via Killian's enhanced strength strikes (he was able to physically tussle with Tony's suits and not get overpowered), that damaged his IM3 suits. IM had his head shoved into a fireplace in IM2 and took the heat from Thor's lightning in Avengers without any real issues.

Can't say what temp they reached since it was never shown/stated. Was that how hot Killian and company got? Wow.
And Tony's suit was damaged by the lightning. It had burn marks all over it but the electricity boosted his reserves. And I would think the Sentinels are stronger than Killian.
Can't speak on the other things since I don't remember them offhand
Yes, it was revealed in the film that they were hitting 3000°C. And as I pointed out, the lightning did not cause him real issues. An extended blast caused what amounted to superficial damage, and lightning is actually way hotter than 3000°C, on average. And he got his head shoved into the fireplace during his drunken fight with Rhodey in IM2.
