Darth Malgus vs. Luke

Darth Malgus in his prime vs. ROTJ Luke, who wins?

Physicality: Malgus

Self explanatory.

Force Abilities: Malgus

Luke may have been extremely powerful, but his full potential had barely been realized at that point and his study of the Force wasn't on how to use it combatively. And well Malugs.....yeah

Sabers: Malgus

Luke's rough around the edges application of Form 5 just ins't enough.

Overall, Malgus just outclasses Luke so far.

Luke fought a hindered Vader. This is evident by Vader's different movesets during ESB and ROTJ. Vader was holding back as he was conflicted, something Luke even points out.

Luke matching Vader in strength means that Malgus' own strength will be of no threat to him, and he's just plainly more skilled. Malgus's displays of the Force are more destructive but may not be enough for him to win this.

Also, play the experience card all you want. Fightsaber claims that the only reason Vader was able to duel Luke on even footing is because of his vastly greater experience in dueling, and he's more skilled than Malgus as well.

Did we... watch the same movie? I believe Nebaris once coined the term "Boo Radley with a baseball bat". Luke is NOT more skilled than the guy who was owning Jedi Battlemasters 45 years from his prime.

"It was 80's choreography" isn't an argument. Luke being a match for Vader is, a fact supported by the script and every single tie-in to RotJ, as well as other sources. You can't deny it.

The idea that he's "plainly more skilled" isn't an argument. He "plainly" flails around like a retarded moth next to a bonfire. Malgus "plainly" makes him look like a crippled ice-skater in comparison. Luke fighting Vader doesn't mean he's as skilled as him. Luke's technique comes from just copying what he saw of Vader's moves, "skill" is not his strong point. He's ridiculously less skilled than Malgus' supposedly perfect technique.
