No. Magneto doesn't has the power to beat entire Justice League.
How often are we talking? He's used it plenty of times. More than enough to consider it a viable defense in this fight. One that a GL wouldn't be able to easily get through.
Let's just say that he has used it around half a dozen times in last decade. Thor has used godblast more than that.

What's the number you need, though? Half a dozen times in a decade is more than enough for us to say "yeah, he can do this" and not really have to question it. We use way less substantiated powers on the forums all the time, for pretty much any regular character.
I also object to discounting older feats. So long as it remains in canon, why doesn't it count? I do realize portrayals change over time sometimes, but especially if he's still doing it, there's no reason a feat from, say, 1994 isn't valid.
Long story short, Magneto's shields are obviously in play. They might not ensure a win, but they'd make him a tough out.

Like? Save Flash and Silver Surfer rarely any character is given that advantage. But for both apparently, what comic show are meaningless.
Even in those instances Magneto used the field for a very short amount of time. Like in AVX he used the shield against repulsors of Tony for one panel and then dropped it to go h2h with him.
To think as Magneto will simply turtle up in his shield and nobody can do anything to him is pretty OOC for Magneto.

Well, they are. They rarely factor in modern depictions of the comic. Think it like WWE. Writers don't know these miniscule details these days. The time for a rigid continuity is long past.

I likewise don't understand why some don't want to allow certain powers to be used just because they do not do it often. For me this should only apply if the character has been around for a long time and only has a single instance of using the power.
For example post crisis Superman one time busted out "Soul Vision" to look at Superboys soul to tell if he was like..evil? Since he was cloned partially from Lex Luthor's DNA so obviously Superboys understanding of how genes work is quite limited, but that isn't the point. I wouldn't grant Superman the use of Soul Vision, not unless he did it more then once.
It is the same with that Torquasm-Vo shit that I think he used in one story.
