Magneto vs. General Zod

Can Zod break his shields or does he get crushed by metal?

Round. 1: Zod has his armor (Starting distance 50 feet)

Round 2: Zod has no armor (Starting distance 50 feet)

Fight takes place in Metropolis during Man of Steel

Did Magneto kill Apocalypse or something?

Zod should kill him.

Magneto actually did deliver one of the finishing blows. But I doubt Zod can get through his shields. And there's no way Zod tanks the sheer amount of metal and force Erik can generate.

Kryptonians can tank a planet killer beam. You could drop a mountain on Zod, and it should mildly inconvenience him.

Lois can tank that beam too.

The Kryptonians arent invincible and Mags can generate tremendous force with his metals; Zod will take a beating, but will eventually fall...

Yes but did Eric show enough force to take down a Kryptonian? And were Eric's shields shown to take the physical force a Krytonian can dish out?

I'd say no to both points, but that said we haven't seen Eric's shields penetrated either.

But it seems to me, kind of like the Hulk gets stronger as he gets madder, we're taking a few assumptions from Comic Book Magneto here regarding his shields.

Magneto's shields were never actually tested. Zod should power through them and kill Mags

QS kinda leaned against it and then gave up. I don't recall Apoc actually attacking Magneto's shield. He was distracted and getting attacked from all sides
