Originally posted by Darth ThorIt can keep going but this level of billion dollar booming cannot. I think it can. Look at James Bond.Might not always be no.1 kid on the block, but can be ever lasting (past our lifetimes anyway).
They're going to keep making SH flicks as long as people keep paying to watch them and despite the "Superhero Fatigue", these movies if done right can still bring in a billion or more.
Marvel will likely shelve Ironman, Thor and Captain America for a bit and then reboot their franchises, too much money to be lost not doing so. We'll also have new SH flicks/franchises between now and then to fill in the years.
This will not go away anytime soon but I bet we will look back on this as the golden age of comic films with Endgame. I just do not see this level of success sustainable because it is unheard of. I do believe the films will do quite well just not this well on average. I would love to be wrong and only time will tell. Ten years of consistent dominance is already a testament to the filmmakers and vision of Feige. That being said I cannot wait to find out who the next big bad will be though if we are all honest no one can compare to Thanos.
