Kit definitely beats Qui-Gon, albeit in a good fight. He falls to the boss though - also in a good fight.

Why do you think Fisto can definitely beat Jinn? Personally, I always go back and forth between the two.

Kit's performance against post-AotC Obi-Wan, who, by all logic, should be Qui-Gon's better, is a pretty strong indicator. Kit's also faster.

Good point with Fisto's performance against Obi. Yeah, by the time Kenobi fights Fisto he should at the very least be at Jinn's level.

Considering that Obi-Wan was a near-equal for Qui-Gon in TPM already, I think it's ridiculous to suggest that in ten years, Obi-Wan, a character of greater innate ability than Qui-Gon, would not be able to surpass his master. I know the Clone Wars was a major driving force for his growth in skill and power etc, but in three years, he's not growing exponentially more than he did in ten years. That's stupid.

I agree Kenobi would be > Jinn by AotC, I'm just saying that at the very least Kenobi would've been at Jinn's level by AotC, which would still make Fisto the clear superior to Jinn.

I know you did - but there's others who think Qui-Gon > AotC Obi-Wan. That, to me, doesn't make any sense.

Not really sold that AotC Kenobi > Jinn. Just because he's been kicking about for ten years doesn't mean he necessarily faced the necessary trials to promote growth.

Don't see why he would stagnate for a decade. That's just retarded, especially since he was very young.

Not to mention hardship and trial are hardly the only way to improve. That's something TOR wankers use to say the PT Jedi Order sucks. Besides Kenobi had plenty of "trials" with Anakin. Jedi Quest or their new comic for example.

I guess judging Kenobi's growth could be defined by how you rank Maul when compared to Dooku.
