😂 You realize he is amongst the villains with the highest Jedi killcount in SW?Id recommend you to reconsider your words.
Against a treacherous elite swordman.
It would have been wiser to send Anakin with Kenobi to seal the deal.
As per the director I am vindicated once again. I told you so Darth Thor you should have listened .
“In my mind, he walks in there knowing basically that he is going to betray Snoke but he doesn’t know yet exactly what the mechanism is and what his opportunity is going to be. But he’s gone in there with the intent of, whether it’s now or whether it’s later or whenever it is, when he brings Rey in there, he’s had that connection with her and what he says in the elevator… from that, in my head I thought, ‘Okay, he knows he’s going to do this but he doesn’t know how yet’ and when he sees that opportunity with that lightsaber next to him and sees Snoke distracted and realizes he can give this an attempt, he goes for it.”
Lol this one comic apparently reveals why Chewy didn't get a medal at the end of ANH. Because dignity. That is the reason. Specifically the dignity of Leia, who is so small she would have had to stand on top of a table just to put the medal on Chewy and that isn't dignified.
So she puts the medal on him in private.
But then a more recent comic shows he got the medal and immediately gave it away to a little kid because it "clashed with his warrior vibe".

I'm sure he was really badass in the cartoons, but i never watched the cartoons and on film he just sucked.

That's part of why they dropped the ball. Lucas intended Grievous to be some cowardly villain. Yet he was portrayed in the cartoons as a nigh unstoppable monster.
Only in the original CW cartoon. In the CGI one, he was mocked by Kit Fisto of all people.

Why even name him General Grievous? Was "General Bad Guy" taken?
We've done this dance before 😛 Most SW villain names are lame like that.
Maul, (In)Sidious, Tyranus...
Even outside of movies, you have guys like BANE or NIHILUS and such.

That's why i said that i disliked and disapproved with the way he was pictured in ROTS.

For you to have an idea of how bad ass he was by the time of the Clone Wars.
Kenobi was losing that sword fight TBH! The TK was the only think that saved Kenobi there!
You should watch the CW, it's a really good TV show, and it's canon material.

Not really, else Grievous wouldn't have been able to kill so much Jedi's.
Grievous was smart, that's how i see it. He was intelligent and knew how to outsmart his opponents.
Cowardly or not, he is way better than what he was portrayed in ROTS.

Quanchi, it thought you would be smart enough to realize that you are not longer worthy of debating with.
It's evident your understanding over SW is comparable to a 6 years old kid who tries to understand sex!
So please, stop bothering yourself, isn't like am gonna debate with a TROLLLL like you!!!

They needed Anakin to watch the Chancellor, though. I honestly think they thought that Kenobi and his battle group of clones would be enough for Greivous. If we take TCW in to account too, it only adds fuel to the argument that Kenobi is more than enough to handle Grievous by himself.
And they turned out to be right.

Uff.. Some people is too stupid to understand words it seems to me. Also too stupid to recognize when defeated.

Not according to that. It's clear Kenobi isn't enough to ensure Grievous' death!
I am not saying that Kenobi couldn't defeat Grievous (which he did) but am saying that to me, the Republic was unwise to send only Kenobi.
The should have sent another Jedi, like Kit Fisto to ensure that Grievous is capture/dead.
Do you understand what am saying?

Some people are too stupid. You are such a dope.
Another poster reiterated the same points I told you and you just continue to post nonsense. Throw in the towel.
