That Extremely Long Cut Scene from AOTC where Anankin and Padme have dinner with her parents. Now THAT Was PURE Star Wars.

On an emotional level, dinner at Padme's house epitomized everything right about the OT. I loved it when halfway through Empire, the story, plot, and characterization all came to a grinding halt so that we could meet Han's parents and watch bad acting unfold with an 8 year old's idea of a good script. AotC really captured that.

Or how about when Han was Non-Flirting with Leia He complained about how bad wookie hair smells when wet!!!!!!

Good. The movie was terrible. It makes even AotC look well written. 👆

Still alomost amazes me that people think Rogue 1 was ACTUALLY GOOD!?

WTF is Wrong with People?

It's simple. Fan service.

That's all Rogue One was. Sure, the plot and characters were shit. But it had great action sequences, interesting planets and vehicles, some amazing visuals, fun Easter eggs, and of course that Vader scene. It's certainly not a good film, but I enjoyed it.

Eh.. I actually found it all kind of Boring. Even the Big Space Battle Scene at the END! How you do that I dunno....but They DID IT!

And have so far found all the New Ship Designs to be just Rip Offs of TOT Ships or Silly Looking Things with Really Big useless Wings.

That Movie was just Way Over Complicated.

Well R1 was set in the same time period as ANH so it make sense they would have the same ships or ships with similar designs. I agree it's a problem with the ST though.
