That's what Disney is saying but they could be lying. The only existing character I ever wanted was Plagueis. I'm fine with it being a completely different character as well.

Pretty sure its been confirmed Soke is an alien, So that rules out Tarkin out.

Speilberg would be great. He is a guy who won't take Kennedy's shit.

I guess if the story is pretty much set then Abrams would be a decent enough fill in, but I'd prefer someone a little more creative and a little less into nostalgia.

kennedy likes and respects jj, so at least ep9 won't likely suffer under her micromanaging.

Johnson is probably tired.

Definitely glad Colin is out. I was never sold on him. Abrams will get to conclude this. And if episode eight turns out to be amazing no one can say they should have gotten Johnson if he did actually decline.

This series is even more dead to me now.
