Uh, the leading party is predominantly muslim. Erdogan is a muslim. Turkey is mostly muslim. Its a muslim country.

The government isn't "supposed" to be anything, but atm the muslim AKP party is in charge. The core of the AKP was formed from the Islamist Virtue Party. Erdogan is a muslim. 98% of the country is muslim. Its not hard to figure out, man.
