Get off Batman'so dick. WTF cares if he is a martial artist? There is literally nothing he could do to top the damage Blade has taken from Wolverine and the various demons and vampires he's faced. He's been impaled a million times, he's been disembowelled and crucified. Slade still can't get Batman right. Blade adamantium sword would make quick work of Slades SWAT Team armor.

They weren't and you know it.
Logan just got back from fighting Omega Red, whose death spores actually take its toll on him. Canon fact. Going for the kill? He scratched Blade's cheek just to check if he has a decent healing factor (he doesn't, not under Guggenheim). Next, he even sheathed his claws and punched him in the face.
Alternate Wolverine. We've seen 616 Wolverine recovering from vampirism literally in seconds in Curse of the Mutants. And took him so long only because he got infected when his HF was turned off, lol.

Weakened Wolverine easily dominated Blade, while holding back. Cry all you want, that's exactly what happened. You have everything on panel.
Batman's MA strikes have hurt the likes of Grundy (a powerful incarnation), Despero, f*cking Darkseid... Blade has low-showings himself, like needed to be saved from a lone vamp.
