Probably because Silver himself respected JXM as his equal in SW, whilst he maintained a much less friendly tone when debating with most people (including me, at first). Silver was always the one who was willing to put the effort into his posts, which probably made him come out looking much better than JXM - who was kept in high standing pretty much solely because Silver himself respected him.

Eventually, JXM retired entirely from SW debating and Silver left the forums for some time, though he did come back for a month or so recently.
I hold firmly that the Triumvirate died when ILS began making real headway with Maul. You and him came to somewhat of an accord if I remember and Silver had essentially withdrawn from debating entirely. Jedi X couldn't keep up without Silver's support and that left the forum open to a new age where brilliance and chaos alike shone through. Unfortunately in recent times it's fallen to trolling and new fodder being fantasized by certain individuals.
