Crossbones Vs Bane

New 52 Bane feats are superior to Crossbones in every stat. He also didn't have the tubing at one point, DC should had kept him that way.

It's probably because while a lot of people are as strong as Cap, like Red Skull or Crossbones, no one has Cap's feats. Which is why I generally don't pay much attention to the line of argument that goes along the lines of:

"CB is as strong as Cap. Cap can lift this, can Bane?"

I think it's better to understand Crossbones in comparison to Cap and Bane in comparison to Batman. And in such a comparison Bane usually looks much, much stronger than Batman. Batman certainly wins a lot, but Bane almost always has the upper hand, looks physically superior, etc.

Also, Crossbones has only really beaten Cap when Cap was amnesiac/weak-willed or something. CB looked really good in Ellis' run, but even then he didn't really come off as Cap's equal, and certainly not his superior. Crossbones' best has him as Cap's equal, but Bane's best is downright superhuman.

that could certainly be the case when we're talking about bane with the use of his venom or new 52, but in their first fight, bane doesn't have venom. Does he still come across as an outright superhuman without the venom? In some appearances, sure; but not all the time. Some of bane's best feats involve prep, ambushing his enemy, or the use of venom; all of which he doesn't have in the first fight.

Again, I think that crossbones wins around 6-7/10 in the first match with difficulty and bane wins more often than not in the the second round.

C'mon man. Read the stips. This is post crisis bane, not new 52.

Since Knightfall and No Man's Land, Bane rarely used venom. Nearly all of his feats are without venom.

Crossbones isn't that strong to begin with.

With Venom he can go toe to toe with Hourman who is a class 60-80 guy.

not that strong? Rumlow has snapped a werewolf's neck using one hand while killing another with a single punch.

scans?

Bane snapped a dinosaurs neck, I think. Or was is it's jaw.

Yeah New 52 would be a stomp.

This is pre-flashpoint though, so a bit more reasonable at least.

Is that supposed to be impressive? What feats did those werewolves had?

Bane has actually restrained Cheetah without venom.

Bane is actually not on venom in that fight.

😂

I know that-- just saying why even used a weaker version of a character when his history wasn't affected by the new 52 unlike most others. That's like using Beast before he got all hairy. Who gives a crap if someone could possible beat hairless Beast, the real question is can they beat him now. The same for Bane.
