Yes will be good. Im saying could have been Epic with a rebooted Aquaman. But Mamoa has clearly limited its potential.
That said its unfortunate this film was already well into production when Justice League flopped. So rebooting wasnt really an option for this.

I think the same thing about alot of the trailers that get released and all i see are negative comments. It's like they woke up on the wrong side of the bed or got a few fries short of a happy meal.

Aquaman has a good director with a proven track record, and from what I've heard a good script. IMO, the only detractor from this is Mamoa, he just doesn't fit the role at all, and his characterization of Arthur is stupid. It should at the very least be decent, probably the best so far. I'm not much of a WW fan though

Imo I think deadshot was a bad interpretation, from the little I’ve seen of him he’s more serious then what was brought to the screen.
I can’t say Afflect was as good as Nolens Batman, Burtan’s, etc. he’s not serious enough to be Batman.
I really dug Affleck's Batman. Shame about the movie he was in.
Will Smith's Deadshot was fine, but a far departure from the genuinely Suicidal Floyd Lawton of the comics.
And Mamoa brings a lot of energy to a character that mainstream audiences would have considered a joke. That being said, his interpretation isn't the Arthur Curry I like in comics. But that would be hard to make a solo movie of without incorporating a lot of other DC big hitters.
Idk, I don’t want fine. Nolan’s Batman and joker weren’t fine, they were great. The problem with the JL actors is that there just that....fine.
Only Gadot stands out to me, it doesn’t hurt she’s a 10, but from the WW movie she did put a lot of effort into her role as WW. But Alfleck and Cavils Batman and Superman are forgettable.
