Again I don’t see what’s so bad about Mamoa...then again what do I have to compare him to in the role of other aquamen?Imo I think deadshot was a bad interpretation, from the little I’ve seen of him he’s more serious then what was brought to the screen.
I can’t say Afflect was as good as Nolens Batman, Burtan’s, etc. he’s not serious enough to be Batman.
I'm comparing him to the comics, not to other movies.
I thought he was plenty serious, but if you don't like Affleck, you're certainly not alone. I liked him, even if he killed far too many people for my liking.

Ive not seen a single comment from you on the Venom thread. No hate or love comments. Its like you dont care for Marvel properties if they are not made by Marvel Studios.

Spider-Man is The Marvel Icon. Always has been and always will be.
Nah im into both Marvel and DC. Dont make it a penis measuring contest like you.
That said Thor, Spider-Man and X-Men have always been my favourite comic book properties.

Originally posted by BruceSkywalkerFunny thing is i do not enjoy Aquaman as a character at all. I just feel this will be a really good movie. The one dc character I preferred as a hero or anti hero is black Adam but I do not want the rock playing him.
I wasn't going to , I was gonna wait until the 2nd or 3rd week, but I might change my mind

Seems that way doesnt it?
I mean you should have an opinion one way or the other. Either hate Sony for not letting the MCU use Venom, or applaud them for giving us a Venom franchise on top of the Spider-Man one.
Either way I would expect a Marvel fan to have an opinion one way or the other.

Idk if a purely comic book version would have worked. They do always change things when they go from comic to screen anyway.
Originally posted by Darth ThorI already gave my opinion. I cannot make Sony give up the Spider-Man franchise but will see this tomorrow with low expectations. This is not handled by the true marvel studios. It is ok you do not like Disney Star Wars either so you have an anti Disney bias. I believe.

Sony own part of Spider-Man and the only way that will ever change is if Disney buys Sony, which I doubt they can afford right now after the Fox deal.
Yes Disney have dented Star Wars.
And it is not Disney who made Marvel good. Marvel Studios were doing that before Disney took them over.
But you can worship Disney. I have no interest in being a corporate slave.

If they get them back good but I am far more interested in the surfer, ff rogues especially Galactus than Spider-Man.

Nah, one flop will not ruin things. You are free to bet though but I bet you will puss out.
No, I do not. I love Disney but they erred in solo, firing Gunn, etc. I acknowledge their mistakes but the company has given me Thanos, Snoke, and three of my favorite films of my life. No one is perfect but Disney is the best.
