It does not need to move. It's opening on December 7 in China which people are already calling a win for WB.There is room for all the films to do well this Xmas. Like TLJ, Jumanji and Greatest Showman last year.
Wb is second rate to Disney. Just the way it is. As a company no comparsion these days.

WB is a very consistent studio who consistently puts out the most diverse slate of films. WB is just starting to hit their stride and are producing many hits now.They just need to get the DCEU up to par with the rest of the studio. We will see if Wan and Hamada can deliver.

WB is well aware of this and are firing back. Look at the release schedule for May 2019. WB has stacked May with films with the specific goal of trying to slow Disney down. Similar to what Disney has done to them.
Minecraft will probably move but Godzilla KOTM and Detective Pickachu have the potential to be big hits.
None of those films will beat Avengers 4 but Godzilla can definitely hurt Aladdin the other Disney tent pole at the box office.

Disney expanded better by buying the biggest franchises - Pixar, Marvel Studios and Lucasfilm.
Not sure Disney improves on any of them though. They certainly have not with Star Wars.
Marvel Studios was great on its own. And would have been just as great without Disney. But I can understand their desire for long term financial security never having anyone taking their characters away again.
Heck they never would have gotten the X-Men and FF back without Disney.

Disney bought the properties and MCU has continued to grow. Iger deserves the credit. Disney owns the movie industry. That is where the big bucks are.
