Excited over Swamp Thing as I loved the cheesy 80's film as a kid and if it's being done as an R film, that would be great for the horror/dark aspect of it. But my excitement over Wan doing it hinges on how Aquaman turns out.

edit: Can't find anything on a Swamp Thing film, are you thinking of the upcoming TV series? That's not being directored by Wan.

I have not seen the last two trailers because I do feel like they are going overboard trying to get people to trust the brand again. Dceu needs a win but to be this desperate you have to laugh at them.

I would say so, yeah. But it's also a way to avoid the competition a little more.

And the overmarketing people are worried about was also required due to the insane competition it's facing over that weekend.

Wan is a good director but I do not worry about the quality for fans of this you should worry about the competition eating it. Bad release date.

The more important thing for the DCEU right now though is that this is well received by everyone. Which they seem to have confidence in (for once), and it does look fantastic.
