Djem So, Juyo, and Vaapad weren't listed.

Thanks 🙂

Well nice that they contradict the Jedi Path. Is it too hard to check other sources to make them consistent?

What parts contradict?

And Jedi vs Sith. And pretty much every other source that goes into detail on the forms 😬

Shii-Cho and Soresu were the biggest offenders, imo.

From what I know of Niman, it seemed on point.

At first glance it says not everyone can master Shii-Cho, yet in the Jedi Path it says every initiate must master Shii-Cho before they can even become a padawan. IIrc.

Well on phone so didn't really look, but they said Form 1 all can't master it. Which according to the Jedi Path younglings have to show mastery of the Form.

Well, there are different levels of mastery.

Well yeah, but it's still contradicting. Unless it's meaning to master it as a sole focus form to the Ninth degree.

Eh, pretty sure Younglings are only expected to learn Form 1, not master it.

mmm Fair enough. Although there is probably room for interpretation here.

👆 It takes most Jedi at least a decade to master even the least-demanding form. (Neiman)

I'm perfectly fine with these descriptions, myself. Never seen Makashi performed with a shoto, though.

It makes sense considering Makashi is based on real-world fencing, which often employs a dagger alongside a sword.

Well given that Younglings are given swords as soon as they could wield them, them mastering Form 1 isn't much a stretch since by the time they are Padawans, they are already pretty much 16+ years old

Except they only spend a few years learning Shii-Cho, and 1-2 years each on the other forms.

I'm also pretty sure the cut off point for becoming a Padawan is 12-13.

👆

I don't think so, since Ahsoka at 14 was considered young for a Padawan.
