Prometheus was using Midnighter's OWN fighting style against him, too. What's your point?

Proof? I have proof of my claim.

In terms of HTH skills, Shiva is above IF, IMO.

I disagree. But okay

has IF stalemated someone in Karate Kid's level? Probably not.

Didn't I just say Prom had all the best fighters on the planet? He even commented that Midnighter was one of them. Keep up, man.

No dipshit. I meant a scan.

😂 I've posted the scans many times. If you don't understand them by now, you never will.

Come on, Van. Tell me why you disagree.

For one thing its the sheer mythology of defeating a dragon with pure skill. And then having studied the Book of the Iron Fist made him even more spectacular.

That's not beyond what Karate Kid has done.

KK has some ridiculous feats I agree. But if we're talking pure skill. Iron Fist every time for me.

Val is more skilled. You won't find anyone in comics more skilled than him.

It makes perfect sense. This is DCnU Midnighter we're talking about.

Did you see issue 12 or 13 of Power Man and Iron Fist? Took a bad fall that should have killed him.

I missed it. Unfortunately, I stopped buying Iron Fist material a couple years ago.

BTW, Karate Kid is similar to Iron Fist, in that he mastered Chi. Instead of calling it "Chi" the writers back in the day called it "Super Karate". 😂 Stupid, I know.

^ I don't know about you, but that impressed me. Even Spidey wouldn't have shaken off a fall like that, let alone someone like Daredevil or Nightwing (Probably Batman, because he's Batman.)

Midnighter could survive a fall like that, because of his healing factor. Midnighter was actually totally aware when he was being worked on by those aliens. All his skin was off, too.

Nice.

But I don't think Batman could survive that..

P.S.

You should give the current series a try. It's basically a 90's style "buddy drama" show ala Lethal Weapon. Carefree, clueless and well meaning friend Danny wants to get the band back together, while responsible father Cage grudgingly indulges him because someone has to look out for the guy. Wacky hijinks ensue.

Really good stuff. Also brings the"hood rat" secondary characters and that "street justice" theme the original Power Man and Iron Fist had going for it, only better because of how it humanizes everyone, including villains like Tombstone. You're not an outsider looking down, you feel more like you're there with them, seeing their lives and getting to actually know them.

Seriously, it's the definition of "fresh".
