Well given that they said Thrawn is gonna be used sparingly, them killing off Maul would leave the show without some kind of character antagonist.

I mean, unless they plan to introduce Cad Bane or an older Boba Fett this season. Or some new character.

You know what, if they reintroduced Boba and had him kill Maul I'd be fine with that. It saves him being killed by Ezra or Sabine 😐
