Well, yeah, but I don't see the point in bringing characters that have nothing to do with the topic at hand, and using them as a measuring stick, LMAO.
Because that's a gauge that people would be familiar with and it would be easier for other people to understand where I'm heading?

Because everybody hypes his deflecting lightsaber blades whilst exhausted feat, which OCW Shaak replicated. What else does he have that'd put him above her? Also, arbitrary? Virtually all of our rankings are arbitrary, lmfao.
When has Shaak replicated Kylo's lightsaber deflecting feat? Against Grievous she stopped the momentum of the blade itself, not tanked it's power which Kylo actually did.

She deflected the momentum of the blade, and OCW Grievous' blows are much more powerful than Rey's. There's a lot of minutiae regarding a comparison of these showings that I'm not interested in delving into at the moment, but the two showings are roughly equal.

Do I really need to explain the difference? Sure, let's do it and put it to bed. In Shaak's case we see how she slows down Grievous his strike to the point that his blade is centimeters away from her hands and gets thrown against a wall so she is absorbing the blade's momentum(-> kinetic power) but is unable to fully do it as she is launched against a wall.
In Kylo's case we see how he puts up a barrier (the Junior novel describes it as a mental shield or something in that area so I'm assuming it's a barrier) which not only has to tank the kinetic power of Rey's blows (as she slashes into his mental shield) but also the cutting power of Rey's lightsaber (even in canon lightsabers can cut through the hull of capital ships and tank lightning).
So yes there is a similarity between the two feats but ultimately Kylo's performed better since he managed to block the kinetic power of the blows AND it's cutting power while Shaak Ti only blocked it's kinetic power (admitally Grievous is stronger than Rey) but even then was thrown against a wall at a pretty high velocity.

Firstly, Grievous is far, far stronger than Rey. Secondly, deflecting the blow bare-handed is better - perhaps far better - than blocking it with a Force shield.
And you seem to have it the other way around. Shaak blocked its cutting power, since she was unharmed, but the kinetic power still affected her, hence she was thrown backwards. That said, her Deflection feat would've pertained to the kinetic force of the blow nonetheless - she merely couldn't stop the force of the blow from sending her flying.
