Non-canon books worth reading?

So, I'm on my way to become an Star Wars canon expert, BUT, I still wanna read some comics and books from the old canon.

Which books and comics should I start with?

To help you, I'll say which characters I'm interested in:

-Quinlan Vos.
-Sora Bulq.
-Revan.
-K'kuhrk.

ToR: Deceived, Revan, Fatal Alliance are all good in my experience.

Dark Disciple is canon. I have read the full Bane trilogy, and Revan was already recommended.

He cited those because they were the worst Star Wars books lol.

The Bane trilogy is good as well.
