To help you, I'll say which characters I'm interested in:

-Quinlan Vos.
-Sora Bulq.
-Revan.
-K'kuhrk.

Star Wars: Republic is a must then. A lot of Quinlan Vos and Sora Bulq.

But a must read even though it doesn't pertain to any of those characters are Dark Rendezvous and Labyrinth of Evil. Both are amongst the best Star Wars novels imo.
