ROTS Dooku vs ANH Vader

TFU 1&2 are, what? 1-2 years before ANH? Are we all going to lower Galen Marek now as well, since he and Vader are very competitive at this point in time? Or just discount Vader's feats there? After TFU, does his suit rust and he lose all trace of skill?

Tyranus takes sabers, and all-out. Vader should take Force, though, but it's obviously close.

Especially since he thinks Maul sucks and that Dooku trounces him. Logic dictates Vader can do the same to the Count, even with the quote.

Depends of the setting. Vader's only chance is to have a lot of things, that he can throws at Dooku. Without that, his Force powers will be irrelevant. Dooku is faster and more skilled duelist, Vader - unlike Anakin - wont be able to enforce hi's style advantages. And their sabers skills will be a deciding factor here.

In legends, Dooku might have a chance but otherwise Vader wins

ANH Vader looked very slow and unimpressive in his duel against Shitbag Kenobi.
