Best and most righteous politicians ever

So, who's in your top 3 most honest, righteous and ethically respectable politicians in history?

I'm drawing a blank at any politician I would think of as "righteous" past or present.

Ethically respectable? Yikes. The funny thing is..the politicians that would fit in these categories probably aren't ones anyone has ever heard of. Those aren't the kind of politicians that become well known and popular.

Fidel Castro. There's reasonable proof that he actually cared about the well being of his people and his actions weren't just motivated by greed.

1. José Mujica of Uruguay. Lived almost an impoverished lifestyle as president and gave 90% of his $12,000 monthly salary to charities. Was nominated for the Nobel peace prize and was described as "who cannot be anything in his life example of austerity, dignity and honesty, adding its actions in favor peace of peoples today in conflict"

2. Rebuilt Britain post WW2 and introduced state pensions and a whole host of welfare reforms that eliminated abject poverty. Introduction of the National Health Service. Also vastly workers rights, wages and conditions of employment and also built huge numbers of better quality homes thus got rid of the worst slums in the country. Managed to create near full employment which never ran above 2% at any point during his tenure.

Obama is actually probably one of the most moral politicians in history. I mean, go back a few decades and pretty much everyone is disqualified by modern standards for like, their social views and stuff. And I honestly think he cares about the people he's serving.

Michelle is pretty admirable tbh, if she can be considered a politician.

Michelle is going to be in the spotlight a lot recently to downplay attention from the Clintons. Michelle and Barack are going to do a lot of good PR things so people vote Democrat. Export more of the Obamas this week.
