Interesting. So it sounds like he doesn't want a daily show anymore. If he went to Trump he'd probably get maybe a once a week show on Sunday or something.

I was thinking the same thing. They have a long friendship.

I honestly think Ryans not that bad of a Senator. The speaker thing was heaped on him. IMO he's the textbook orthodox conservative..trump is the voice of a party of his own creation. Hes going to wreck the gop which sucks because some of those guys/gals are good. Ryan really has no choice but to distance himself and await the fallout. He's kind of has his back against the wall because millions of Americans voted for a guy that many politicains view as cancerous he cant openly diss him but he also cant really, truly support him if/when he crashes.

yes wrecking the gop is bad. A "republican" (I use quotes cuz Trump isn't a true elephant) president with the backing of a republican congress could get some serious shit done. Change isn't a bad thing as long as its for the greater good. If elected he couldn't possibly hope to get anything after the gop lose all those seats.

And since when is appealing to the other side a negative? that's the point of democracy...to benefit all, not a chosen few

Sigh. Ok imo he's an authoritarian. His message is his and his alone and his supporters seem to vehemently "attack" anyone with differring views. There's also an underlying xenophobic aura as well as some other things i find disconcerting. But meh..
