Even though Lydia is just a 16 year old girl, she has amazing skills -- able to solo several Whisperers primarily with a melee weapon:
I only mention the above showing because Lydia was among the Whisperer-group that Jesus effortlessly tooled:
*Back when she was still a Whisperer, of course.
Once again, Jesus is SO skilled that he makes even those who are VERY skilled in their own right look like talentless feebs -- we've seen this with Abraham, Michonne, Negan, and now Lydia. Dude is crazy haxx. 👆

All that and he still has feats of blitzing people armed with automatic guns and batmanning others. Again, he should lose at 6 or 7.

@galan it has it's moments. It's still early on and i believe its trying to still find itselfIt'll annoy you at first glance. But if you're patient with your viewing it could grow on u
IMO the second half of the second season picked up and is considerably better than what came before. Will still annoy when the characters do dumb things though, but I could say the same for TWD (and from what I heard TWD has suddenly been losing viewers lately).

that's due solely to negan. hes good in small doses

I do think they should ditch/kill some more of the characters and tighten it up a bit. For example I find Carol to be hell annoying and pointless these days - they had a chance to kill her they should have taken it. Morgan seems pretty pointless too, he probably should have just wandered out of the show.
Also - Jesus is good but realistically he probably can't beat everyone at once when he gets to round 5 or 6 here.

I never understood people complaining about the violence in a finale. It's never mattered before when we saw zombies melted onto the pavement. One moving around pressing it's arm down which then tears it's arm. What did they expect to see when someone gets their head caved in with a baseball bat.
THe Tara episode which I think was genuinely bad. But I think it's good how over the last few epsidoes the pacing has been good. Carol is probably going to go back to killer mode. Though I have no idea about Morgan.

Well I guess that's the thing for some viewers - not what did they expect to see when a guy's head gets caved in by a baseball bat, so much as they didn't want to see a guy's head gets caved in by a baseball bat in the first place. Zombie violence is a bit different.
But anyway I agree I've been enjoying the last few episodes though the Tara one was not so good. I'm interested to see how Jesus will compare with the comic version as things progress.

Yeah I guess you're right on the zombie violence vs human violence.
Good news on that front is Tom Payne confirmed he's training specifically for the Negan fight. Really looking forward to that.

Maybe im being a little too harsh on Negan. But his target is the brightest. There are other reasons...the death of Glenn a fan fav, too many new characters...rick/darryl being cowed. It's kinda gloomy and depressing which is realistic and not a bad thing it just doesnt make compelling tv.
