People become far less liberal and more conservative as they get older. It's been the same for as long as we know how to science these things.

After 8 years of Trump's presidency, many of the millennials will see the light, I am sure.

Gotta admit, I've never seen such media biased election in my entire life. At least from my point of view. From CNN to SNL down to freakin ERB, it was all anti Trump.

I'm still in shock he pulled it off.

Not much reaction to who won. I didn't like either candidate.

The meltdowns I'm seeing are quite entertaining, tho. 😛

I think this is just great because finally people are facing consequences for their corruption.

This is the consequence, you get made to look like an utter f*cking fool by not even being able to defeat Donald Trump despite DECADES of experience.

Thanks for correction. Edited. 😛

They labeled Trump a sexist and a racist and an idiot who's gone bankrupt multiple times, a blunt, rude prick, has no idea what he's doing...

Yet America still has more confidence in him being President than a woman. 😆 😆 😆

Millennials are more consistently liberal than any previous generation on record.

Millennials are more conservative than their Gen-Xers and Baby Boomers were, at the same age, according to research:

"Millennials more conservative than you may think - Millennials The Conservative Generation

...millennials are more likely to identify as conservative than either Generation Xers or Baby Boomers were at the same age, said Jean Twenge, professor of psychology at San Diego State University and lead author of the paper.

...

'So the current view of millennials as liberals might be due to their age -- young people are more likely to be liberal. But if you compare young people now to young people in previous decades, those now are more conservative,' she said."

I know it's like when that horse sinks into quicksand in The Neverending Story.

it's all because we ignored god

At this point the best thing the Clintons can do for the democrats is to leave politics. It's time to go retire to some hillbilly Arkansas town.

why? I'm for the wall. Pay some broke mexican criminals to build a nice wall and boost the economy for the states due to all of the new tourism for the wall.

Ok, so i like Bald Eagle eggs. Would it make it any better if the next time i eat my egg salad sandwhich made from Bald Eagle eggs i'm atop Trumps wall?

Admittedly..they do taste good with bacon.

Maybe I'm skimming the article, but I think it also says that Millennials are more likely to identify as liberal - they're just more polarized in both directions. I do remember reading data suggesting that their liberal - conservative ratio was higher than other generations when they were of the same age, but I don't remember it off the top of my head.

A few points though:

1. The baby boomers will fade before the Millennials become as old as them.
2. If the Millennials end up turning right, they'll still make up a smaller share of the electorate at that age than the baby boomers will, leaving more for the next generation, which will presumably be quite liberal.
3. If the Millennials end up turning right, that'll likely be relative to their time, so the new republican party, if it exists, would look a lot more like the democratic one of today.

In either case, the Left tends to win in the long run, but it seems like that's going to be especially true in the coming generations, thanks to the demographics shifts.

Just listening to some "Out of Touch" By Hall & Oates.
