If someone appears to have attempted to blow up a building full of children, but in reality was just trolling around to scare the sh*t out of everyone, that's still a f*cking terrible thing to do. I think a Trump presidency can be decent if the following criteria is met:
- Trump tells Paul Ryan to take his supply side/Austrian bullshit and **** himself.
- Trump controls his temper and doesn't act like a lunatic.
- Trump doesn't create a Supreme Court which gets rid of Roe vs Wade.
- Trump doesn't get us involved in stupid wars*.
I don't care about immigrants, I don't like BLM, and I don't like Muslims. He can screw over those three groups as much as he likes. Gays will be fine, Trump isn't going to do anything to them. Transgender people might whine, but frankly, while I'm sympathetic to people who suffer the condition, I'm sick of their brainwashing. All these young kids suddenly think they're transgender, because they're going through puberty and society is flooded with nonsense about gender fluidity.
* Russia and China are great powers. It's not unreasonable for them to expect to be able to bully their neighbors. Ukraine is historically part of Keivan Rus, and if Russia wants to take over the Baltic states, who cares? They're small and weak, tough shit. Read some Thucydides. If China wants to dominate the South China Sea? Whatever.
* For the Middle East, I say we let Russia prop up Assad. He's a dick, but he's secular. We should tell Erdogan to **** himself, because he's an Islamist shit head. The Kurds have been great allies, we shouldn't **** them over for Erdogan. They're like some of the only decent Muslims in the Middle East.

These peoples posts are not nearly as nuanced and complex as you'd like to believe. It's just that..not everyone agree's with them. I know this is the entire problem people like you had with this election in the first place so..let me say that again: not everyone agree's with the things you say.
Some might find it to be a lose lose, I find it silly at this juncture in his presidency to feel anything for sure.
