I disagree, I think it is all about the approach. Surts and I have had plenty of arguments but they have never devolved into shitfests.
Some people are beyond being able to have civil debates with, however. I think yours and my argument devolved because you felt I was talking down to you because you viewed my reply as the "old and wise and I know everything" approach. Outside of that, we've kept it civil. Why? I think if you and I, two of the most argumentative buttholes on the board, can get along, then almost anyone else can.
