How good will a Trump Presidency actually be?

And a puppet loves its master. Putin has his hand so far up Trump's ass rn presumably, considering the Russian state did everything possible to install him in the White House...

Russian did everything possible to get Trump into the White House? Damn, Hilary should have given them a better price on all that uranium then.

😐

Your response is so uniformly irrelevant that I wonder if was intentional - you'd think that if you just randomly strung together words, something would sort of match what I was saying.

How does this refute or address anything I was saying?

It's just that..not everyone agree's with them.

I know this is the entire problem people like you had with this election in the first place so..let me say that again: not everyone agree's with the things you say.

How does this refute or address anything I was saying?

Some might find it to be a lose lose, I find it silly at this juncture in his presidency to feel anything for sure.

Let me re-post my reply for you to go over again:

*sigh* No, it isn't. There's more nuance to the point, which Neph tried to explain.

There is such thing as a lose-lose scenario, even if one "lose" is worse than the other. If someone appears to have attempted to blow up a building full of children, but in reality was just trolling around to scare the sh*t out of everyone, that's still a f*cking terrible thing to do. The fact that it's preferable to actually trying it doesn't magically make it a good thing.

Either they want him to do the shit he said or they don't.

If they do not, it's weird to try to mock him when he decides not to do these things...because it seems like they would want this whole "willing to compromise" shit to continue.

Or maybe they don't. Or maybe they just don't even know what they want and are just like chickens running around with their heads chopped off.

They are certainly free to mock him of course, but I would figure all these folk would(for now) just be focused on trying to keep this country from falling apart.

Instead we have violence from both sides now. Yet it was just supposed to be the Trump voters who were this shitty, so what happened?

Makes no sense whatsoever.

Okay man, whatever you choose to believe is fine.

It's funny that you whine about political correctness, but then use rudeness as a shield from debating your intellectual betters. Oh, I'm sorry - I just called myself smarter than you, now your response will completely ignore all of my arguments and just focus on the insult instead. 🙄

You're one of the most lavish hypocrites I've ever seen.

LOL, dude who is using rudeness as a shield? I said if you want to believe my reply didn't make sense then fine.

I disagree, I think it is all about the approach. Surts and I have had plenty of arguments but they have never devolved into shitfests.

Some people are beyond being able to have civil debates with, however. I think yours and my argument devolved because you felt I was talking down to you because you viewed my reply as the "old and wise and I know everything" approach. Outside of that, we've kept it civil. Why? I think if you and I, two of the most argumentative buttholes on the board, can get along, then almost anyone else can.

Surts...I think he's harmless even when he is throwing shit.

Bla, I say ignore him. Don't let him get under your skin. Don't actually turn on ignore...just don't devolve with him.

The issue is because I've pointed out how smug he is he thinks that is something I want to hide from. The truth is that me and him will just go back and forth and back and forth.

This thread will be on page 30 and we still won't really be any closer to an agreement or any real type of understanding.

The problem isn't that you think I'm smug, it's that you point that out instead of actually debating the facts. You may not say it, but your case is essentially "you're being mean to me, so you must be wrong!"

That's why you are indeed a hypocrite on political correctness, your rationalizations notwithstanding.

Well, it's time for me to talk down to you this time: "I disagree" and the second part of your sentence contradict one another. My entire point was that Surtur was more concerned with my tone than my arguments despite his obsession with criticizing political correctness. That you say "it's all about the approach" is literally what I was pointing out. Yes, tone and attitude can be important - but the contention here was one of hypocrisy on Surtur's end.

@Lord Lucien: sorry that I turned out to be much smarter than you, and almost as smug about it. 👆

But again: nobody said they wanted to avoid you because you're smug

I said if you want to believe what I said makes no sense, you can.

It has nothing to do with your attitude and everything to do with..you can choose to believe these things if you want.

When I say "I'm going to put you on ignore cuz ur arrogant" then you can whine about it.

I'd never do that because I love your attempts to seem superior to others. I especially love you when you say idiotic things like "Some allies aye Surtur?!" in threads I hadn't even posted in yet. It's good to know I'm on your mind.

You keep that up, ya hear?

I disagreed with you stating, "You're one of the most lavish hypocrites I've ever seen."

My apologies for not making that clearer. The second half refers to how you approach disagreements with him: you'll avoid these shitfests and you won't feel the need to state such extreme things about your "opponent." I know you probably are not interested in playing nice with people on the internet so you don't care about my input which is fine and I accept that.

Also, I don't feel you talked down to me, in your post. 👆

I wonder how many of these libs actually lived in Muslim countries for any time at all lol.

Obama didn't exactly keep every promise either. They call him "The Democrat Nixon" fora reason. (No, not because of criminal accusations..)

How's "Romney Care" working out? 😛.

Thanks for your empty fact-free posturing. 👆

Here's a hint: I didn't vote for Trump.

And you can use Google to educate yourself on Obama's record, and on the roots of "Obamacare". If you're interested in more than focusing on one side's failings..

More empty posturing.

Yeah, cause Google hasn't chosen a SIDE on the political fence or anything....

Sure, Google as a company. (Also, sub in "google" for "search the internet".

Obama's about as liberal as Nixon was conservative, and even "liberal" sites are all too happy to point out why. Hell, Obama outright admitted it, and chomsky, in addition to Reagan guys, say it all the time. )
