So nothing but speculation, eh? Good to know.
That's kind of what you're doing, and since there are plot holes larger than many prisoners buttholes, speculation may be exactly what is needed, so I don't fault you on this shortcoming.
Let us speculate then.
1. If Tyrant was more powerful when Galactus originally defeated him, it may have been due to 1 or 2 things.
A) Galactus may have consumed far more than he did when he fought Tyrant in their final conflict.
B) Tyrant was more powerful in their final conflict than Galactus prepared himself for, thus making Tyrant more powerful than he was when Galactus defeated him the first time. After all; Galactus knew roughly how powerful Tyrant was before he defeated him for the first time, but he couldn't have known how powerful he had become after not seeing him for thousands of years.
C) It was because Tyrant used Galactus' own tech against him. Oh boy! Galactus must be extremely doltish even though he's one of the most intelligent beings in the known universe. I mean after all Tyrant was an extremely powerful technopath.
2. More evidence points to Tyrant being more powerful in their final conflict than he was in their first.
This is what we know.
A) Tyrant had thousands of years to regain his former glory (canon).
B) Their first battle happened off panel (canon).
C) Tyrant was always more powerful than an average Galactus (certainly true, or Galactus wouldn't have feasted before the final battle).
Did you bother to read the OP?
Galactus is at average power levels, which means that he is about as powerful as he is when searching for another planet to feed on. This means that Galactus would be weaker than he was when he faced Tyrant in their final battle (I'm right, it's okay to admit it).
So far, your one liners have done absolutely nothing to help your case. Galactus stops at 3 because Tyrant murders him.
