Bad ones like Supergirl, Green Lantern at least picked the hero as the main character and gave it a try, no matter how bad it was.

BoP was brought to support Harley instead of getting their own movie, but they had to take the mess while Harley at least got another chance to go in SS2.

The DCEU has very low brand value (in comparison to the big guns that is). The box office of BOP proves that.

(Save TIH which was over 10 years ago and before anyone knew what the MCU even was) No MCU, Star Wars, LOTR or Harry Potter related film has grossed as little as BOP.
