Immortal Dr Fate mini series
The mini series post CKIE when he handed the mantle over to Eric and Linda. A hell lord states on the second page of the first issue (IIRC) That for the first time he believes Fate is actually weak enough to be able to be destroyed.

He's unable to be destroyed because every host waz altered by Nabu to be immune to mortal harm and tbe source of their power (which comes from both Order and Chaos as well as human spirit) makes them immune to reality and matter manip. Their energy an be manipulated but there are several stories where Fate is the only LIVING entity left (this wouldnt include Slectre obviously ) after everytbing is destroyed.

On at least two occasions Fate has survived the end of existence. One of those was Eric Strauss fate the weakest of all.

I dont see him beating Sentry because I cant see a take down but i do see it as a stalemate

Or Fate BFR Sentry like Genis did.

I always caveat no BFR, but yeah, that'd be well within Fate's abilities.

Fate has gone up against just as powerful, if not more powerful. Depending on which Fate, he's gone up against Spectre, half helmed.
