Trump will not prosecute Hillary????

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/22/us/politics/donald-trump-hillary-clinton-investigation.html?_r=0

WTF??? For the past 4 years I've heard Republicans rail on Hillary's imprisonment, and for the past year I've heard Republicans say that the one good positive of Donald is that he will rid the government of Hillary's cronies and make her pay for her corruption. Now, Trump has officially stated that Hillary will get to continue her immunity to prosecution, and now the same Goldman Sachs members whom Republicans railed against Hillary for making paid speeches to have been placed by Trump into key political positions.

I do not understand the logic of Trump voters. They stated Hillary's flaw was that she was a puppet for Goldman Sachs to wield political power, but now Trump has directly put Goldman Sachs members into political power. The republican argument was that Hillary was an elitist for the rich, but it seems Trump's cabinet is mostly rich elitists.

I understand Trump supporters being angry at Hillary for her elitism (as many democrats were as well, leading to her low voter turn out that allowed Trump to win traditionally Blue states, resulting in his presidential win), but why aren't they criticising Trump for his same elitism? And since Trump seems to have officially pardoned Hillary, why do Trump supporters still rail against her as if she deserves prosecution, since Trump himself says she deserves immunity?

How is this not hypocritical?

What, you didn't know it was all just a joke?

Trump says shit for show. To me this was obvious she'd never serve any time. He said all of this to rile up the fanatics.

We've had several Trump supporters here who fervently supported his "fight" against Hillary and her elitism. I would like to hear an explanation from them of how this is not either hypocrisy and ignorance

First off I want to say something, did you notice how when Trump does something like lie..people are whining and demanding explanations? But when Hilary does..it's literally just shrugged off as "that's politics!!!" or "so she's just like any other politician". So many times did people on this board answer her lies with that type of bullshit.

Just something hilarious I noticed, but as to your question: I think it is bad. Personally if it were up to me I'm not sure what I'd do. I definitely think if she did something worthy of being in jail..b*tch needs to be in jail lol. I'm tired of the rich getting away with whatever the f*ck they want. On the other hand it would be a media circus to go after her. That would be just one more thing for the Anti-Trumpers to whine about when it comes to Trumps presidency: oh he took our attention away from legit issues by focusing on Hilary!

So I feel like this is a damned if you do damned if you don't. They'd whine if he went after her and they'd whine if he didn't. I feel he never should have said he'd go after her, but since he did say he would it doesn't look good to suddenly change.

Well Surtur you fell for his lie about jailing her. Not surprised tbh.

It's mostly irrelevant to me as it's not like I voted for him based on the mere fact he said he'd jail this dog.

So why did you then ?

Mostly Anti-Clinton, that is why. If they'd only chosen Bernie, but meh..too late now.

Not really. Like I said, Hillary lost traditionally Blue states, which shows that many democrats didn't view her as "just another politician"

I voted for Jill Stein as a protest vote. I didn't have the conscience to vote for an obvious liar like Hillary just because I'm anti-Trump

There is no "not really" because I got this "oh it's just what politicians do!" excuse here many many times over her lies.

But oh shit Trump lies?! Alert! Alert! That is the hilarity in all this, and these same people will then come and stupidly say "derp so we can't point out his lies?". Because missing the point has become a friggin sport here.

So you're saying that because Hillary supporters ignore when she lies, Trump voters can ignore when he lies? How is that not just petty hypocrisy?

Ohh man my edit after this comment is..just apropos.

But nah, not saying that. Just laughing at the utter hypocrisy.

You'll notice that he sad Trump lying was bad and that Trump shouldn't have said it, so it's fairly obvious that he's not ignoring it.

If they break the law and actually get away with it, then yes.

So far Trump's cabinet needs to start their term first...

So what is the point? That Hillary sucks? Obviously democrats realised this, which is why she lost blue states. When do republicans realise Trump sucks. Your point seems to be that democrats should abandon Hillary, but they clearly did that on election day. Why haven't republicans done the same with Trump?

I find hilarious how Surtur always talk about people 'whining' or being 'bitchs'. Lmao
