He (Nadd) has absolutely nothing to suggest he'd best Vader in sabers. The man [Vader] was already matching/besting a legit army buster and master of several lightsaber technique --- one of which, being Juyo which requires one to be a a high level master of several forms to fully become a maven, in Starkiller - all before becoming a "far more formidable combatant", and increasing more power in the Force overall.
Going with the Sith who, as a spirit, gave King Ommin enough power to dominate millions of Onderonians, one-shotted Nomi with TP and easily dominated Arca Jeth with a continuous spell. Meanwhile causing a dark side nexus that consumed Onderon as a side-effect of his sorcery. Before Nadd took all his power back and claimed Ommin's spirit.
