What the hell is it with DC? They can find capable writers to write cartoon versions of their characters, but live action is just a mystery to them?

The ONE episode of Justice League Captain Marvel appeared in told you everything you needed to know. It captured the balance of the child inside with the adult he becomes when he transforms.

I dunno, maybe DC just chose to highlight the worst parts of the movie in the trailer and the movie as a whole will still be good.

They literally showed the villain and Billy's shock when he

blocks the punch.

And, it was still meant to be a teaser, not a full trailer. I'm sure we'll get a trailer that spoils the whole movie soon enough.

Damn he’s dense.

Is the Rock still meant to be playing BA?

I doubt it, I think that ship has sailed.

Rock was always a terrible idea for dcs nest anti hero in BA. hopefully this never comes to pass.

Well, the script and director have already been chosen for the solo, right?

That doesnt mean anything.

Of course not. However, the Rock is everywhere these days. I wouldn't be surprised if they used him. I mean, SHAZAM needs Black Adam. He's his number one villain. I can't see WB casting another.

Rock isn’t a guaranteed win. Look at skyscraper. I want someone else as dc’s greatest anti hero. If they **** this up I’ll be pissed.

The Rock has never been in anything of substance in my opinion. He's a known persona for sure, but there's much better actors out there.

Hasn't the Rock been the highest grossing actor in recent years?

Yep. He succeeds more than he fails at the BO.

I do not care I don’t want him filling the role of Black Adam.

I'm sure that Oscar is right around the corner for him. He's the highest grossing actor because he stars in 2 or 3 crap movies a year.

LOL! The Rock isn't that type of actor, dude. He's still making bank more than pretty much anyone out there and ads more to the BO, than not.

Look at that stellar body of work.

Not a movie in the bunch that has any depth to it.

Zack loved him in bay watch.

Why is Shazam listed in his film credits? Last I hear he's not going to be in it but I'd bet he's going to be in a post-credit scene if he were to have a small part.

Yeah, cause he's strictly an action star that makes a load of money.

Well, Moana is there, and it has more depth than the vast majority of the MCU. I expect you might now deride it for being a Disney musical, but if you do this it is important to know that you're an idiot. 👆

The Rundown at least is also a solid action film, and that was early in his career. Furious 7 I at least have heard is good. And frankly? That is largely all the MCU has to offer. Good action films. You're not looking at movies with serious depth like There Will Be Blood, No Country for Old Men, or The Dark Knight my man. 🙂

Furthermore, you're criticizing the movies themselves for not being good or lacking depth. What does this have to do with Johnson? Even in some of the more average or bad movies Johnson's performance has been critically praised. He's proven himself to be a solid actor. Hardly the next coming of Daniel Day-Lewis or Marlon Brando, but good.
