Trump's First 100 Days

Here lies the thread of first 100 days:

Will Trump deliver on his 100 days list that he said he would? If he doesn't, where will he go wrong?

Let's list the things he said he would do, first:

Here the list is:

Trump has pledged to do the following in his first 100 days:

Appoint judges "who will uphold the Constitution" and "defend the Second Amendment"
Construct a wall on the southern U.S. border and limit immigration "to give unemployed Americans an opportunity to fill good-paying jobs"
Re-assess trade agreements with other nations and "crack down" on companies "that send jobs overseas"
Repeal and replace the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (commonly called the Affordable Care Act or Obamacare)
Remove federal restrictions on energy production
Push for an amendment to the United States Constitution imposing term limits on Congress
Eliminate gun free zones
Formulate a rule on regulations “that for every one new regulation, two old regulations must be eliminated”[8]
Instruct the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to "develop a comprehensive plan to protect America’s vital infrastructure from cyberattacks, and all other form of attacks."

1. He'll definitely appoint a judge, sounds like that will be happening within the next couple weeks. Whether or not it is approved, who knows.

2. The wall is the most likely thing to never happen, imo. There's been a lot of mixed messaging on that front. Statements range from "It's definitely happening" to "it may not be a full single wall" to "it was symbolic of tougher immigration policy". I'm gonna go ahead and predict that there will not be a wall, if anything he'll likely reinforce the fences/walls that are already there and hire more border agents.

3. He's already pulled out of the TPP, I expect he'll make a legit attempt to improve trade in some way, since I think that's one of the major reasons many normally democratic voters went for him. If he fails at this one he will lose a lot of key support in 2020.

4. No idea about Obamacare. At the very least it will be altered in some way. They've already taken the first steps to repeal it, whether or not they'll actually follow through now that backlash against the idea is growing is another matter. This is something that I would find very interesting to see, just a shame so many people's lives are on the line.

5. I think he will remove restrictions.

6. The term limit things I have trouble imagining. I don't know why members of congress would vote to kick themselves out of office. I'm not even sure if it's a good idea. We will see. I'm skeptical of this one.

7. Can he eliminate gun free zones, really? Do the states have the power to create their own gun free zones? I don't know.

8. No idea about the rule on regulations. Don't know how that works at all.

9. He'll probably instruct the chairman to do this, whether or not it will get done, dunno.

It wasn't done because of greed. You need congressional approval, for congressional term limits. Bit silly, really.

And yet they'll whine over the electoral college lol. But then I'm sure dems have been pushing for congress limits too.

The topic as you can see with the title, since you're so concerned/paranoid about titles is "Trump's First 100 Days"; not "Surtur's whining about Democrats and the reasons why they #trigger him", sport.

The one he'll do for sure, is #5. Anti-pollution and environmental concerns hurt many corporations ability to maximize profits. These will be at the expense of the environment, our land, air and water. Joy.

If he does this, even if the judge is struck down by congress, I would applaud his efforts for trying to stick to his guns.

That's how I feel about that wall. But there are far better ways to spend money to keep jobs here in the US.

This is a good idea...sort of. ****ing over our little brother, Mexico, because of racism is not a good idea.

It should be replace and repeal, in that order. Or, "phase out ACA and phase in a true Universal Healthcare options." haha

Remove some, modify some, enforce some, add some. It's not perfect how it is done, now. Needs to be fixed.

What a stupid ass, conservatard idea. I can agree to, "allow trained and licensed personnel to have guns on school campasses" and that could be something like requiring some teachers to be able to have guns. But I'd like to see that fingerprint technology take off for guns, first, that way students can never fire the guns...welll...

Okay, this is too complicated. We'd have to get into the nuanced details. But, overall, I think this is a stupid idea.

This is a stupid ass idea. Simplistic ideology from a simplistic buffoon. But if done right, this could be a great idea. Replace 2 shitty regulations with one good one. I could go for that.

This is a damn good idea. The US is currently at cyber-war with many groups and states.

As for "gun free" zones..if you're planning to do some harm with a gun then a sign that says it is a "gun free zone" is pointless. Unless it comes with new technology that can remotely disable all firearms within a certain radius.
