Yeah, and it seems it is quite vague with talking about how it's meant to give students a chance to essentially be exposed to different kinds of speakers.
Apparently the guy trying to do it..tried something similar in the past and it got shot down because apparently under the bill you could technically have ISIS recruiters being allowed to speak. Or that was the reason given.

People crying about "free speech" on colleges would be against having a pro-ISIS speaker speak at colleges.
I'm sure you see the problem there?

I see the problem, but I have said if someone is actively going to incite or encourage violence they shouldn't be allowed. A person who says they endorse ISIS would essentially be endorsing the groups practices, which encourage violence.
If they were to make this bill, I'd have it worded more specifically to talk about speech that isn't from someone who's views encourage violence against those who disagree with them(ISIS certainly does I feel you'd agree).
209 rioters are indicted on charges including felony rioting which includes $25,000 in fines and up to 10 years in prison. Most of the rioters are college students. I wonder how nervous they all are. Federal charges by the way.
These are the riots that happened in D.C. The day of the inauguration. Now they're going after uc Berkeley rioters. What a win for justice and order!

All this proves is that you should only protest/riot in Califunny. They don't arrest you in that state when you destroy stuff and hurt people.

So do you think this is right or wrong?
Should rioting result in arrests for provable cases (article says body cams and still photos are what lead to solid cases and indictments....I mean...if you're caught on camera smashing a window, you should pay a fine to the city and to the owner of the building, imo).
