She is then thinking of staging a protest because she got fired for protesting? Lol, I love seeing one of the most privileged sets of people in the world act all oppressed. A woman in Saudi Arabia who just got her genitals mutilated for daring to leave the house without being accompanied by a man is probably just shaking her head right now.
What amazes me more than anything with this immigration day and the womans day is people seemed to legitimately feel like they had the right to take off work without even calling in before hand to explain they are taking off work. They feel they had the right to do that and not be penalized.
They think dicking over the person nice enough to employ them in order to protest makes it a noble gesture. But they just come off like spoiled brats who want to have their cake and eat it too and if you won't let them eat their cake you do not support females.
I say we organize a trip to Afghanistan or one of those countries for a group of American born women who think the USA is waging a war on women and all that. I feel it would be quite an illuminating trip. Perhaps spending a few weeks in a country with an actual rape culture would make them a bit more appreciate of all the privileges they enjoy here.
