Even the Vatican has hopped onto the alien train. They went from burning chicks cuz we thought they were witches to "f*ck it, aliens are probably real" in a couple of centuries. Also yes: there are actual Vatican scientists, so this isn't some random priest saying it. They've even held conferences about alien life.
Even some descriptions of the bible sound like UFOs, like the "angel" that is some big burning wheel of fire. Or a strange light in the sky guiding Moses.

Jimmy Carter once saw a UFO and is the only president to ever fill out an actual report about a sighting(Reagan saw one too)
There is even a story of Ike Eisenhower meeting with extraterrestrials in the 1950s and signing a treaty with them. We even have a name for the supposed treaty: The Greada Treaty. Which supposedly said they would give us advanced technology as long as they were given permission to abduct a small percentage of the population for experiments(but they had to return them safely).
Curiously, UFO abduction stories weren't really plentiful right when stories about UFOs came out in the 1940s, the numerous abduction stories began to happen a few years after that supposed treaty was signed..
Even more, on Ancient Aliens there is a tale where George Washington was approached by some alien being in the woods and shown a vision of the future of America lol. Like, a future map of America. But not just any normal vision, but rather the alien being had a map and drops of blood began to fall on it and form the lines of the states and also marked future major cities.
How they got so much detail about his vision is not said.
