They are gonna probe that hole on Uranus most likely, probe it nice and good. They want to be inside the hole on Uranus, for the sake of discovery, of course.
Jaden will be the first to sign up for that one way suicide mission.

Probably the discovery of a new planet that could potentially support life.
Turns out you are sort of correct. It's going to present findings on exoplanets. An exoplanet is a planet that orbits a star that isn't our own sun. So not necessarily one that will be capable of supporting life(or being fed on by Galactus). On the other hand, we have discovered plenty of exoplanets prior to this, so this obviously has to be something more than the average exoplanet.
NASA set to make major exoplanet announcement
An interesting part from the article:
"CNET said that it had seen the research in an article published Monday, adding that “while we can't share details yet, let's just say it could very easily provide us with new settings for many future works of science fiction.”
Funny, but true story: in 2011 during an interview with an official at the Pentagon a reporter asks about a passage from an Air Force manual that said all personnel are required to immediately report any UFO sightings.
Within 24 hours the passage had been deleted. The Pentagon, of course, claims the timing of the deletion was pure coincidence.
