Just because you're older, doesn't equate to being more intelligent. Reed has the feats over Thanos by a mile.

Of course he does he's been in comic books longer he a more mainstream character as well but imo if Reed and Thanos had a prep battle without PIS Thanos would win.

A few others:

Professor Ivo (10, at least): Creator of the most formidable androids (Amazo & Shaggy Man). Able to create artificial souls.

Toyman (It was retconned that he actually created Toyman (Hiro Okamura, who is a super genius of his own. Easily 10 or so.)

The Calculator (Created his own Green Lantern ring, IIRC)
