I liked it. It still has quite a few homages to the original JP1, but manages to do its own thing, too. I really liked the parts with Owen and Blue, that was very touching.

Oh, and if you stick around for the end credits scene it's really not much at all. I would say skip it and run to the bathroom. I wish I had.. lol. It's basically just a bird's eye view of...

It was never gonna be as good or as anticipated as the last one. Too limited in scope since they wanted to save the city stuff for a future film.
Im just glad it was still good though.
